In a blockbuster final player announcement for the host nation, standout Proteas icon Jacques Kallis is officially joining Team South Africa on the fairways. Universally acclaimed as one of the greatest cricketers of all time, amassing over 25,000 international runs and nearly 600 wickets, Kallis is equally formidable with a golf club in hand, playing off a razor-sharp scratch (0) handicap.
Famous for his unflappable composure, technical perfection, and unmatched big-match temperament, Kallis gives captain Ernie Els an elite, scratch-level anchor to headline the home side's lineup.
With Kallis locked in, Team South Africa’s roster is now complete. The host side features a powerful combination of Proteas cricket icons, Springbok World Cup winners, an Olympic champion, and a Bafana Bafana star as they prepare to defend home turf at The Links at Fancourt from 11–13 December 2026.
