• Tense Finishes: Two matches were too close to call and ended in hard-fought ties: the battle between Jermaine Jenas/John Terry and Gianfranco Zola/Gabriel Batistuta, and the clash of Phil Jagielka/Robbie Fowler against Ryan Giggs/Nigel de Jong.

• The Powerhouse Pairing: Paul Ince and Phil Jones delivered the session's most dominant performance. The England duo was relentless, walking away with a huge 7 UP win over John Arne Riise and Henrik Larsson.

Batistuta’s Near-Miss at the $10M Swing

The afternoon was punctuated by the richest hole in golf. While all 24 icons faced the 181-yard par-3, it was Gabriel Batistuta who provided the ultimate heart-in-mouth moment. His laser-like strike settled just 11 feet 3 inches from the cup - claiming the "Nearest the Pin" title and proving that "Batigol" is as dangerous on the green as he was in the penalty box.
