Hart & Ramsey Take on Bangkok: A Week of Challenges & Culture

Throughout the week, Joe Hart and Aaron Ramsey will take part in a series of competitive, Thai-inspired challenges filmed across Bangkok and Reignwood Park.

At the launch press conference, the pair faced off in a live Pad Thai cook-off, putting their culinary skills to the test in front of the media.

The rivalry continues with a tightly contested FootGolf battle and an on-course golf challenge — early indicators of how fierce the competition will be in January.

Hart returns aiming to help Team England defend their 2025 title, while Ramsey joins Team World as a major new addition making his long-awaited Icons debut. This week serves as the first real test between the sides, offering a glimpse of what’s to come when the teams meet again in 2026.

Joe Hart (Team England): “Last year blew me away - the fans, the rivalry, the whole experience. Coming back to Bangkok feels special, and I’m buzzing to kick things off this week. Team England wants that trophy again.”

Aaron Ramsey (Team World): “As a proud Welshman, I was never going to miss the chance to beat Team England. We’re building something powerful for 2026 and being here in Bangkok has only added to the excitement. We want revenge against Team England and we’ll be pulling out all the stops to make it happen.”

Thomas Brookes, CEO, Icons Series: “This week signals the start of an exciting build-up to 2026.
