Former Proteas captain playing off an impressive 1 handicap joins Ernie Els’s squad for the high-stakes match-play golf tournament at The Links at Fancourt this December.

Widely regarded as one of international cricket’s greatest all-rounders, Pollock took over 800 wickets and scored over 7,000 runs across a glittering career for South Africa. Known for his relentless accuracy and tactical brilliance, the ICC Hall of Famer is also an exceptionally skilled golfer, playing off an impressive 1 handicap. His elite precision and composure under pressure make him an invaluable weapon on a tough championship links track.

Pollock joins a powerhouse Team South Africa squad that already boasts skipper Ernie Els, cricket master AB de Villiers, Springbok World Cup winners Fourie du Preez and Butch James, and fast-bowling icon Vernon Philander.
